DaaPass

DaaPass

DaaPass serves as my own personal password manager. It utilizes strong encryption techniques with different encryption keys uniquely applicable to each user.

Encryption

DaaPass utilizes two major encryption standards: RSA and AES. RSA provides the encryption keys and the ability to share the information with multiple participants; AES handles the encryption and decryption of the stored information. As a second optional security measure, which the user can enable, DaaPass utilizes two-factor HMACS-based authentication with Google Authenticator. Two- factor authentication involves employing two components to authenticate the user: something you know, such as a password; and something you have, such as a mobile phone.
